All available offers are displayed online.
Access to Bed&Crous is reserved for national and international students as well as administrative and teaching staff of the French higher education system.
All bookings that have been paid for are systematically guaranteed.
To do this, the following procedure should be followed:
- Search for a residence;
- Choose the type of room;
- Possible selection of additional services;
- Verification of the details of the reservation, its total price, and possible adjustments of the choice (room, rate, additional service)
- Fill in the contact details and the documents justifying the status (Bed&Crous is reserved for French and foreign students as well as administrative and teaching staff of higher education institutions located in France);
- Payment by credit card of the entire stay;
- Consultation and acceptance of the general conditions of sale;
- Validation of the reservation;
- Bed&Crous acknowledges receipt of the booking by sending an email without delay summarising the accommodation offer and additional services booked, the prices, the sales conditions relating to the tariff selected and accepted by you, the date of the booking, the information relating to the User Service, and the address of the residence to which you can submit complaints.
It is reminded that all reservations must be prepaid in full.
In all cases of guaranteed reservations, you will be given a reservation number.
This reservation number allows you to make an appointment to arrive at the residence at the time you wish, taking into account the residence's reception hours.
If you arrive earlier or later than the stated reception times, you should give your reservation number to our reception, which will issue you with a ticket stating your room number and access details.
Modification or cancellation
You are reminded that, as these are hosting services, and in accordance with Article L 121-21-8-12° of the Consumer Code, you do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in Article L 121-21 of the Consumer Code.
All cancellation requests must be made either by the residence or by yourself using the cancellation link in your booking confirmation email or your personal account.
ATTENTION: your cancellation must be made before 7 p.m. the day before your scheduled arrival.
In the event of cancellation before 7 p.m. on the day before your scheduled arrival, the full amount of the prepaid stay will be refunded.
In the event of late cancellation after 7pm on the day before the scheduled arrival date and before the date of your stay, the prepaid accommodation fee may be refunded minus the price of the first night's stay from the amount refunded.
In the event of a no-show (reservation not cancelled before the stay and absence on the planned start date), no refund will be made.
The costs of the cancelled stay will be reimbursed to you by bank transfer at the initiative of the Crous (after deduction, if applicable, of the costs for late cancellation - see above). You must send the residence your bank details (a bank account number in your name) to enable the transfer to be made in your favour.
Means of paiement
The beneficiary pays for the entire stay by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard) by entering directly, in the area provided for this purpose (secured entry by SSL encryption), the card number, without spaces between the digits, as well as its date of validity and the visual cryptogram via the PAYFIP payment platform.
Payment of additional benefits
The residence may proceed, during the stay of the entitled person, to the invoicing of other sums, corresponding to new services consumed on the spot not included in the price of the stay paid at the time of the reservation.
The residences can generate invoices/notes via the application and give them to each beneficiary.
Police record and identity
Depending on the applicable legislation, you may be asked to complete a police form on arrival at the residence. You will be asked to show proof of identity to verify whether or not you need to complete the police form. You may also be asked to show the identification document you downloaded when you made your booking, which also shows your status (student or member of staff in higher education). You agree and undertake to use the room in a reasonable manner and in accordance with its purpose. Therefore, any behaviour contrary to public morality and order will lead the residence to ask you to leave the establishment without any compensation and without any refund if a payment has already been made.
Dislodgement and force majeure
In the event of the unavailability of the chosen residence, or in the event of force majeure, the latter reserves the right to arrange for you to be accommodated in full or in part in an equivalent residence for services of the same nature, with any additional costs for the room, transport between the two residences and a telephone call remaining at the expense of the chosen residence.
Bed&Crous will not be liable to you in case of non-performance of its obligations resulting from an event of force majeure. Are considered as force majeure or fortuitous event those usually recognized by the jurisprudence of the French Courts and Tribunals.
Prices are quoted before and at the time of booking. They are per room for the number of persons and dates selected.
The prices are confirmed in euros and include VAT.
The amount of tourist tax indicated is to be paid at the same time as the stay.
The prices include the VAT applicable on the day of the reservation and any change in the VAT rate will be automatically reflected in the prices indicated on the date of the invoice.
Any modification or introduction of new legal or regulatory taxes imposed by the competent authorities will automatically be reflected in the prices indicated at the date of invoicing.
The additional services available for each residence and their prices are indicated on the site.
You wish to extend your stay
Extension of stay is not possible online.
You should contact the residence to find out about availability. If this extension is possible, you must immediately pay for your room so that the residence can inform you of the new access conditions.
You need to shorten your stay
It is not possible to shorten the stay online. Any reduction in the length of stay must be done by cancelling the reservation and creating a new reservation.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
The present general conditions are subject to French law, subject to an imperative protective provision.
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the consumer may choose to bring the matter before one of the courts having territorial jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure or before the court of the place where he or she resided at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the occurrence of the harmful event.
- Room rentals are from noon to noon the next day
- Payment by e-Card is not available for booking and payment of your stay in Bed&Crous residences.
